On Tuesday, 11 July 2023, we followed the Jeju Island East Tour with Yeha Bus Daily Tour.
We went to the Cheolnol Forest for a short walk full of cedar trees. Then we spent about 1 hour at the Seongeup Folk Village, to see the lifestyle and the living conditions of this ancient people.

The Seongsan Sunrise Peak is a nice place. To climb up, we need to pay the entrance fee (included in the Bus Tour fare). It's about 500 steps up, maybe more.

Climbing up Sunrise Peak
Beside the Seongsan Sunrise Peak, are the Jeju women divers. At 2.00pm, they performed their diving skills.
After visiting the Seongsan Sunrise Peak, we went to the Manjanggul Cave. It is about 7.4km deep, but we are allowed to walk about 1km into the cave, as beyond that is impassable. The cave is very damp, muddy and very cold.

The tour is good for learning more about Jeju Island. It is mostly covered with volcanic rock and the most common fruit is Tangerine and the soil is not suitable for crops like rice, and other fruits. We also visited a wine house.
Jeju Island is a nice place, worth the visit!
